Good Women’s Fellowship
In the Redeemed Christian Church of God the Women’s Fellowship is called “Good Women’s Fellowship”. I believe that essentially this is to motivate every member (single or married) to have God like character through believe in Christ Jesus because the amplified version of the Bible states in the book of Mark 10:18b – “There is no one essentially and perfectly morally good--except God alone”.
OUR AIM:
- To build up a group of women that are united by the love of God, fulfilled and empowered for all good works.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
- To create an environment of love, unity and sense of belonging amongst women To sharpen one another spiritually, socially and physically To raise women as pillars in the house of God
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To zealously serve in all areas in the house of God
- To activate the Ministry of helps (children’s department and engaging in different community and church welfare projects)
- To intercede for the Church, our families, and nations.
- To mentor younger women to become mentors themselves to others
- To demonstrates God’s love in every area of our lives
OUR STRATEGIES:
- Teaching on physical and spiritual Christian life to women
- Workshop/meetings (Exchange of ideas and skills)
- Organized visitations (be your sisters’ keeper)
- Prayer meetings (bearing one another’s burden)
- Love feast/breakfast meetings (Know yourself better)
- Ministry of helps (Extending right hand of fellowship)
- Evangelism (be like the Samaritan woman)
