OPC is also an annual conference that brings people from all works of life together to be blessed by the word of God from anointed ministers of God and songs ministrations from various gospel artist and choirs.  This year,  Bishop Tony Osuobeni from Ohio, USA will be ministering as Guest speaker and Lara George (multiple award winning gospel artist) will be ministering as guest artist. The host choir will also be joined by many other choirs in and around Oxford for an amazing time in God’s presence. Come and be richly blessed and experience power packed praises, prayers and ministrations in word and music.

About the Guest Speaker: Bishop Tony Osuobeni
He has served the body of Christ in numerous capacities in different countries as a campus Christian leader, founding Pastor, Senior Pastor, Christian educator, prayer devotee and Worship Leader. He is the author of five books: Worship and Warfare, The Truth about Worship; Open Worship; Hashtag Revival, Leadership by Divine Design and A Thousand Song Offering. Bishop Tony ministers internationally in Europe, North America and Africa, offering leadership and apostolic oversight to churches and ministries in Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Canada and the United States of America. He is the Lead Pastor of New Season Global Worship Centre in Columbus Ohio USA. He is also a trained legal historian and a lawyer. He is married to Pastor Ibiene Osuobeni a physician-attending. Their union is blessed with three children.

About the Guest Artiste: Lara George
Lara’s solo career began with the release of her debut album ‘Forever in My Heart’ in 2007, which featured the hit track ‘Ijoba Orun.’ The album received rave reviews and nominations for Best Vocals Female – Hip Hop World Awards 2008, Best Gospel Act – Nigeria Entertainment Awards USA 2008. She was again nominated and went on to win awards in both categories in 2010, alongside also the City People Awards for Best Gospel Artiste of the Year 2010. Other awards received include Voice of the Year (Female) – Nigeria Music Awards 2008, as well as Best Gospel Song and Best Female Gospel Artiste – Nigeria Gospel Music Awards 2009, 2011. In the year 2012, Lara was recognized as Africa’s best Female Gospel Artiste in the Africa Gospel Music Awards (AGMA), held annually in London, UK. She released her third solo album titled ‘HIGHER – the Dansaki Album’ in July 2012, which also received nomination as Song of the Year and Female Gospel Artiste of the Year amongst others, for the Crystal Awards. In the AGMA held annually in London, UK, she was awarded the Trailblazer Award for 2013 and the female Vocalist of the Year 2014, Crystal Awards Nigeria and BEN TV Awards UK Gospel Artiste of the year 2014. An architect by training, Lara George holds a B.E.S/B.Arch. from the University of Lagos Nigeria.
